textbook:

anne boleyn, poor anne boleyn.  she was hardly the only wife of henry viii but she’s certainly the most famous of them all.  his second wife, i like to think of anne as the one that really started henry down the path of multiple marriages.  she took the place of the fervently catholic catherine of aragon, using her feminine wiles and luring his highness with the promise of a male heir (what he got instead was elizabeth i, not too shabby).  we can’t blame all the scheming on anne though, she was a tool of those around her whether she knew it or not.  ultimately, we all know how it ends.  although, the charges brought upon anne (incest, adultery, plotting to assisnate the king) were all unfounded, you can’t deny that what goes around comes around.  such is the case with all powertripping bright young things i suppose.1: ensnaring henry: dress by lanvin, shoes and socks by dior2: queen anne: comme des garcons, shoes by halston3: dead queen walking: dress by vivienne westwood, shoes by balenciaga

Love the first two, and the shoes in the last one.
